Art and Movement Group for Kids
Open for kids between 2 and 5 years of age. The group meets every Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:30 pm for arts and crafts projects which foster our kids´ imaginations and motor skills. Each child must be accompanied by his/her Mom or Nanny.

Helping Hands
Members who need some temporary help (with meals, transportation, cleaning and/or childcare) due to illness, personal emergency or the arrival of a baby may call other IWG friends who volunteer at-home assistance.

Baby Co-op
If you need to take a break for a few hours, want to spend some time alone or with your husband, need to go to the doctor or the hairdresser, and all this without your children or the cost of a baby-sitter, here is the solution!

Maternity Clothes on Loan
A nice collection of maternity clothing is available to IWG members for free. If you have maternity clothes that you are not using anymore, please feel free to donate them to IWG.

Book Club
Join us once a month in the evening to discuss a book over a coffee. Our meetings are often scheduled at bookstores and cafes in the area. Everybody is free to suggest a favorite book. And remember: reading is also a great way to improve your language skills!

Mindfulness Meditation
Join us on Thursday evenings in this traditional Buddhist meditation. The class will consist of half an hour of mindfulness meditation, 15 minutes of loving kindness, Meta meditation, and a short Dharma talk.

Children Playgroups
Joining one of IWG’s infants and toddlers playgroups is a great way for both caregivers and children to have a weekly activity together and to make new friends. Playgroups meet once a week in members’ homes on a rotating basis.

Monthly Social Evening
Every second Thursday of the month, we organize a social evening among women. We usually meet at 8.00 pm, have a special topic for the evening and original events.

Children's Inn
For those who enjoy helping others and working for a good cause, IWG’s Fundraising Project for NIH Children’s Inn [http://www.childrensinn.org/] is always in search of new volunteers and ideas!

Morning Coffee
Every Wednesday from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm, members and their young children meet for a coffee, snacks, conversation and games. Everybody is welcome!

Cooking Club
Cooking Club is an old IWG tradition. The principle is simple: members share what they love cooking with other members taking turns to host the group. Written instructions are provided for everyone to try the recipes at home.

Movie Night
Once a month, members meet at 8 pm on a Monday evening to watch a movie of their choice. Our moviegoers also enjoy a collation that goes with the style of the movie. Our venue is well equipped with a huge screen and state of the art speakers.

English as a Second Language Group
The ESL group is for any level of English speaker, with the more advanced students being an inspiration to the beginners. It is totally conversational. Members meet at home.

Outdoor Play
Outdoor Play is fresh air, fun, and friends for kids & parents! We meet at our favorite Park's playground every Friday afternoon (3:30-5:30 PM). Join us for outdoor play, swing set, games, and mommy chat!

French Conversation Club
For beginners or more advanced speakers looking to improve their conversation skills, French comes more easily with a little croissant and lots of good humor. The group meets every two weeks.

Singing Group
The popular singing group held weekly at the Wednesday Morning Coffee is what really makes the Morning Coffee meetings fun for everyone who attends. Children learn to sing and dance with the music. All children are welcome from zero to four years old, accompanied by a parent or a caregiver.
